Though varies between individual, average human attention only last around 20-40 min before fatigue starts to kick in. A short 5-10 min break helps reset this.
It is also found that we human works much better when focusing on a single task instead of multitasking in any single time.
Base on these findings, this Intermittent Work/Study Technique was developed. Study/Work is planned and split into small tasks, which each task can be acomplished within a cycle period, say 25min.
After each work cycle, a short 5min break intermittently helps reset our concentration level back. The cycle repeats a few rounds before a longer break is to be taken, lunch or something.

Step-by-step outline
Have them divided into a few small tasks/topics which each can be completed within 25 min.
Settle at a comfortable place with minimal distraction.
Click on that play button. Make sure you start from the beginning of the video.
Focus as much as possible to work on the task/topic until the 25 min timer count down to 0:00.
You want to be 200% focus on this single-task at this time.
Avoid any distractions, all chores, social media, text messages etc. Just stay focus.
Near the end of the countdown, a chime will tell you it's time to take the 5 min break.
During this break time, you can do anything you like EXCEPT continue to work on the task.
If it's not completed, you can do it after this 5 min break.
You can make coffee/tea, check social media, reply messages, talk to people etc.
But take note it's only a short 5 min break.
Upon approaching the end of 5 min, another chime will tell you it's time to get back to work.
This start the next 25 min cycle.
This technique had helped me (and many) to be more effective when studying and working. I actually become more productive and able to complete more tasks in a shorter period. Hope this helps you too.
